The Kin is a mobile device designed to be an aggregator of social activity. Our team at Method was tasked to concept the main features of the next generation phone. This device was targeted towards a younger demographic between the ages of 15 and 22.

Nordstrom N Magazine

Part of a 3 year project to fully redesign Nordstrom’s website, The N Magazine section focuses on building an online fashion community. User can share what inspires them, chat about what’s going on in fashion, and see behind-the-scenes glimpses into the world Nordstrom.

MARCH MADNESS Ios App

The March Madness on Demand iOS applications allowed users to stream live games, manage brackets, and receive alerts during the 2011 NCAA tournament. The iPhone, iPad, and broadband applications posted record viewership in just the first four days of the tournament, ending with 11.7 million hours of college basketball streamed during March and April — a 36 percent increase over the previous year.

WASHING MACHINE UI

Following a in-depth research phase our key learnings pointed towards issues with today’s overly complicated washing machine interfaces. This model provides a simplified experience as the setting are arranged in a linear layout. Additionally, the touch interface provided users with feedback on energy consumption.

As a designer, I strive to deliver elegant and thoughtful design across a broad range of platforms.

During my career, I’ve applied my knowledge of design and interaction to numerous projects for well-known clients such as Google, Microsoft, Pentax, Nokia, Samsung, Callaway Golf and the National Parks Foundation.

My work has been featured in the Communication Art Interactive Annual, and recognized by the SXSW Interactive Conference, Dope Awards, Hive Awards, Webby Awards and the American Design Awards.

Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing people at Texturemedia, FL2, and Method.

I’m currently spending my days designing at Legwork Studio in wonderful Denver, Colorado.
